This module is about the theoretical, practical and creative processes of architectural design and conception of space.

Warsaw University of Technology School of Architecture and Landscape, Lille University Roma Tre With an emphasis on studio-centered activity, the student is encouraged, through personal or collaborative investigation to explore in depth a specialized subject within the field of architecture, including for example: explorative architectural/ spatial design practice; the relationship of architectural theory, history and research; and development/ formulation of architectural design method/ methodologies. Studio based KEYWORDS: . Specialisation on a (research based) subject, theoretical and/or historical research combined with design. . Theoretical profundity . Design methodology KEY QUESTION: . Key question: How can we relate research and design in the field of architecture, and can we find new or renewed ways of combining the two, and in so doing challenge, and potentially originate new ways of understanding architectural design methodology?
