The META-U programme for students will run over two semesters. Both semesters are to be followed within the same module (= a theme based track).
There are two possibilities 1. EU students: the ones from the META-U partners can easily enrol. Students from other universities within the EU can enrol on Socrates funding but they will have to subscribe themselves to one of the partner universities as ‘temporary home university’. The student enrols in one of the META-U modules offered by his university. He/she follows one semester within the same module at one of the partner universities and one semester at his/her home university. 2. Outside EU students: for those students it could be very interesting to enrol in META-U because students can enrol in one of the partner universities and during this year also go ‘abroad’ to one of the other partner universities. In this way the student can study in two different countries during their stay. Those students should also enrol in one of the META-U Partner universities (if admissible) as his/her ‘temporary home university’. Than he/she can follow one semester within a module at his/her ‘temporary home university’ and one semester within the same module at one of the partner universities. Every student has to participate in at least one workshop or student competition organized by one of the partner universities to obtain the right on a META-U certificate. Those workshops will be open to other students as well, providing a possibility of short-term exchange. | Architectural design and theory | Cities in transition | Information design and representation | Integrated building design | Sustainable and user orientated planning and design | Territorial cohesion and heritage | Eindhoven | x | x | x | x | x | x | Brussels-Ghent | x | x |
